IRDNGhana Congratulates President-Elect

The leadership and members of the International Relations and Diplomacy Network Ghana (IRDNGhana) have extended congratulations to the president-elect of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama.

In a press release, the convener of the network, Professor Lord Mawuko-Yevugah, congratulated Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang for her historic achievement as the first-ever female Vice President-Elect of the Republic of Ghana.

This is a monumental achievement which we hope will serve as a point of reference and source of inspirations to all of us.

It is our hope that the conduct and outcome of these recent elections will go a long way to project our country as a vibrant and thriving democracy within the comity of nations. More importantly, it is our expectation that the political class will take the outcome of the elections as a call to service rather than as an opportunity for self-aggrandizement.

The International Relations and Diplomacy Network, Ghana is a non-profit Organization promoting diplomatic relations and fostering international cooperation. It is proud to be the pioneering network in Ghana, dedicated to fostering the strength of professional diversity and extensive cooperation to advance scholarship and influence global policies, initiatives, and development.
